MERCEDES С123 C63

The exterior is a Mercedes-Benz W123, produced between 1976 and 1985. The drivetrain is from a 2013 C63 AMG. We built the two into a single car.

Platform

We took the full drivetrain from a 2013 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG: the 6.2-litre naturally aspirated V8, the AMG transmission, and the suspension geometry. We rebuilt the package and fitted it to the W123 structure. The car runs current AMG output figures.

Custom Metalwork

The front and rear wings are fully custom, fabricated from metal to widen the stance and fit the C63 AMG running gear. We shaped and fitted every panel by hand against the original W123 body lines. The wider sections follow the same surface language as the rest of the car.

The joins between the custom metalwork and the original body are clean. The surfaces flow from the W123 geometry into the wider sections without interruption.

Current Status

The car is at paint. All metalwork is complete, fitted, and signed off. We locked the colour and finish specification at the design stage.
